Default 94 Megasquirt Base map.

Does anyone have a .msq file they can send me for a STOCK 94 running the MSnS-e high resolution firmware? I will be running the autotune, but I need a base to start with and spark settings.

I have searched and can't seem to find one for a completely stock 94.

This is for a full standalone installation with a wideband.

I will be removing the AFM and narrowband.

I should be installing at the end of the week.

Thanks.

Shoot me an email at and I will send you mine. It works with kags mods to the board but it is not the best running. I have not tuned it to well. Make sure you set up spark properly for how you built your board or you can fry your coils.

Well if he sets up his spark correctly mine should actually work decently since it is pretty close.

Ok, I have everything in hand other then a 94-95 ecu connector to make a harness vs splicing into the stock wiring harness.

Anybody have one? I have a spare 97 ECU (apparently working, I haven't tested it yet) that I would trade for a 94-95 ECU dead or alive.

Can't wait to put everything in the car.

Are you sure the connectors on the 97 ECU are different? I didn't source my connector, so I can't help you. :/

Also, did you do this for fan control? http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/p...ans-p-126.html
I just wired mine up last night. I haven't tried it yet.

I've got a 94 full standalone, but I'm running a 2000 motor, and I'm reluctant to share my .msq because of the strange VE's and air density issues I'm having.

The 97 has 3 connectors plugged into the ECU, the 94 has two. OBD2 bs.

They are the same. The MSPNP uses the later connector so we can put our own things in the middle, in fact.

Harness is almost finished, should be hopefully done tonight. Not sure if it will go in the car though, Can't have the car dieing on the way to work tomorrow. Should be installing Friday.

I will post schematics for future people who will be running MS on a 94 if anyone cares.

Car runs, drives, and idles!!!!!

So happy right now!

I will post a logfile later. I am running shuiend's map/settings. Car needs a bunch of work still on the tuning aspect to get it running right but seems to idle fine. Will connect the wideband later this week and plug the ms back in to see what it is actually doing.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Goodjob I am glad my msq worked for you. You changed the spark settings to work for your car correct?

I actually totally missed that column when loading your settings, setting by setting.

Ran on whatever stock settings for spark come with the firmware. Thankfully didn't blow up the coils.

I copied your dwell settings and the spark table. I set spark inverted to what I needed for my board.

Going to see how much a difference "properly" set up spark makes.

Hooking up the wideband tonight or tommorow night.

The dwell settings are what I got off the DIYautotune site. They have worked for me but I am not positive if they are the best. My coils are still around so I guess they work decently. Once you get the wideband in the fun really starts. then you get to spend time tuning.

It RUNS! Once again, but now with wideband!

Hopefully stock ecu never goes back in.
