Adding bluetooth to MSLabs MS3 Mini
Just wondering if anyone with experience with the MSLabs MS3 mini could give help me figure out how to add Bluetooth to this ECU. It has a built in serial to USB adapter, so there is no serial port to plug a Bluetooth adapter into. I'm sure it is possible, just don't know how involved it would be.
Thanks

You need to find a Bluetooth module that can do "TTL" level serial. TTL level means 0V = 0, 5V = 1. Whereas RS232 has 3-15V for 0 and -3 to -15V for 1. So either find such a module if it exists, or add a TTL-to-RS232 converter between the ECU and the bluetooth. You can then get 5V from the MS3 daughterboard on pin 1, ground on pin 2, TX is pin 12, RX is pin 13.
