Default AFR Table 1 Problems

I'm running an LC-1 wideband and I have it and AFR properly set in TunerStudio project settings. The unit is a DIYPNP - the latest version. I've tried to load a new AFR Table 1 by copying over the Tunerstudio custom table. It copies over temporarily. Then, the next time I open the table to take a look at it with the computer hooked to the MS, all of the values turn to "9.0" exactly. Strangely, the values initialized on the MS and the values initially loaded in AFR Table 1 look like lambda values. They range from about 0.3 to 1.7, which is a bit out of the range of the LC-1, but not terribly uncommon lambdas I guess.

So my questions:
1. Why do all of the values reinitialize to 9.0 when I start up Tunerstudio with the MS connected?
2. When using the LC-1, should the values in the AFR Table be lambdas or AFRs?
3. Is it really necessary to run with EGO correction enabled? Currently I've disabled it and I'm running Autotune every time I'm in the car longer than 5 mins. Still running 50% limits, but I plan to taper that off over the next couple of days. Any thoughts about this approach?
4. If I'm able to get EGO back up and running after this, with your help. What sort of authority should I give it with a good tune?

Thanks

You got to click "burn" if you dont, your settings will be lost.

So I can change other settings offline and burn to the controller on startup, but the AFR map is different? I'm not sure that makes sense. Anyways, I'll try to import and burn the map while connected to the MS. Hopefully that works. I feel like I've already done that.

When you use tunerstudio offline, it makes a new "currenttune.msq". When you connect to the MS using the same project, it will prompt if you want to upload the offline tune, or download the map from the MS.

The values should be in AFR, make sure you have calibrated your wideband in TS correctly. Go to file > tools > calibrate AFR. Choose the LC-1 default (if you haven't reprogrammed it). Then your table should be in AFR. Also under EGO settings, make sure the code is looking for a wideband, not narrowband.

For some reason it loaded this time without resetting my values all to 9.0. Thanks for the help.

Bump for this question. I've gotten to a comfortable level of understanding and am starting to nit-pick the finer details .

MSPNP default is 5%. I revised this to 15% based on various thread references I found for the Innovate LC-1 wideband.
Any hardcore tuners have a reasoning to justify 5% or 15%?

I don't like to go higher than 5% for 2 reasons
  1. A well tuned map should not need much to any active correction
  2. A failure in the wideband system will not have a radical effect on correct fueling

I suspected 1. and didn't think about 2. I'll change to stay in line with that 5% recommendation.
