Hi,
I finished my DIYPNP build and also nearly finished the build of the alternator circuit. When I ordered all the necessary parts - the PN2907A are on backorder up to week 47...
No one seems to have them at hand over here in Germany... I have no idea why.
Is there a substitute for the PN2907A?
Thanks

From: Chicago. (The less-murder part.)
The following are direct equivalents:
NTE159
MMBT2907A (surface-mount)
MPS2907
P2N2907
PN2907ABU
PN2907ATA
PN2907ATAR
PN2907ATF
PN2907ATFR
Practically speaking, a 2N6076 would probably work as well.

I used the metal can version of the NTE part.
Farnell / Electronic Component Distributors / Suppliers / Electronics, Electrical Parts, Electrical Components and Wholesale Electronics.
Log on to the German site, and look for the part, its in stock.

I ordered it via Mercateo.com (because Farnell doesn't sell to me as a Civil engineer) at Farnell - delivery in week 44. They told me it would take 1 day.. about 2 weeks ago.
