Default Megatune vs TunerStudio

A couple days ago i tried using Tuner Studios. I like the interface much more than Megatune. The best thing i think is the ability easily select several VE cells without clicking a million times on a cell like in Megatune.

What do you guys use most Megatune or TunerStudio?

I've weened myself off of MT and have been using TunerStudio. It's a cool software package.

I've been using tunerstudio for a while now. The multi-select is nice, as well as the interpolate feature on fuel/timing cells. I might have mentioned this before, but it also has the ability to log cas events, which is nice for us 1.6 guys in diagnosing that sort of thing. Oh, and supposedly it has realtime MLV style autotune coming soon!

TunerStudio is the way to go now. I never liked the Megatune interface.

How about the fact that gauges in the background are still functional.

I go back and forth, but I noticed this on the dyno last time and it made me smile.

That actually is really nice. I hate to not see what coolant temp i am at when working on cranking or warm up.

I'm not one for drastic change. I installed Tuner Studio, and it looked like a nicer, smoother version of MT. Like remember Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo? That is like Megatune, and Tuner Studio is like the Wii version of Mario Bros. This is change I enjoyed though, in fact, I don't even open MT anymore, TS all the way!

also, when people on miata.net complain that "Megasquirt can't do 3d tables" you can send them screen shots of the most useless feature I know of.

I find 3D tables uber helpful when manually smoothing.

Pretty shocked you're not already using it to be honest! TS is the schnitz, and seeing as MT hasn't been updated in a looooong time and has been dropped for MSIII/can't utilise all the MSII functions it's time has come.

Hydra and Hondata **** love that crap for some reason. I've actually heard "make it more green, or more red" from a local shop tuning a car.

I like the # more than anything else...but in the last year I've learned that for some reason which defies any comprehensible logic, I apparently have a different approach to tuning and greater success than most. This defies convention because I lack confidence in my ability, but apparently I'm right most of the time.

I use the 3D tables pretty extensively when I'm steady-stating 75% of the fuel map.
