I just need a TIP122 to do the idle control mod and I don't wanna buy 25$ worth of stuff from digikey, anyone willing to sell me one? I have an extra VB921 ignition driver if anyone else needs.

 

are there no RadioShack style shops near to you? In the UK we have a place called Maplins who have a rather limited stock of electronic components. However they had TIP120,121 and 122's in stock, cost me all of 60p (30c) $25 seems extremly steep!

 

It's really not too bad. Shipping was like 2.50 and the charge for under $25 order was $5. You will probably have to order from them anyway if you want to do an EBC. Go ahead and buy everything at once.
