I don't know how often folks in the Miata community use this feature and was wondering what values others use, if they use it at all.
I started with a spread of 100% evenly spaced to 75% after 120 events. Seems to work reasonably well.
Thoughts?
Thanks

Played with it. It was not useful. At 200 RPM, there are 6.6 events per second. A well set-up start cycle takes 2 seconds or less. I don’t think you’re doing anything anyway.
I do use primiing pulse to wet the intake walls so the cranking pulses actually get into the cylinders.

Thanks. That is good info. I guess I should have said, it didn't seem to hurt anything. I just played with it this morning since it was colder here.
A quick follow up please. The number of events at 200 RPM, how did you determine this info? Is there a field in MLV that I can reference?
I didn't see one labeled 'events'.
I appreciate the replies. Thank you.
