Interesting. I use AEM widebands on both my cars. I do have the EGO correction off completely though in this tune.

I have installed a new set of coils and the problem still persists.

I have a stock PCV system, maybe it is oil causing the ping?

Are you consuming oil? Or haven't you driven enough to be able to tell? You would have to be consuming a lot of oil to reduce octane significantly.

I have only run a few tanks through since buying it. I'm about to put it up for sale because everyone is clueless.

Only thing I can think of left is maybe the wideband lies. Since the ms uses it I doubt it is since it didn't act lean ever.
