36-1 installed....Now we have idle weirdness
00 SE, built the motor over the winter. Rev-built MS2+. Last week I installed the 36-1. It's starts/runs mostly ok, but here is a list of problems maybe you can help me with.
1. when you approach a stop light, say 3k rpm, you push the clutch in and the engine hangs at 1800 rpm for about 3-5 sec then it will slowly come down to idle, Meanwhile, while this is happening, the afr's go from 3rd gear cruze numbers (14.5-15.5) to clutch in of 12.9 and slowly works its way to stable idle of 14.9 at 925-950 rpm. From clutch in to finally a good idle takes about 15-18 secs. It's worse when you decell and the afr shows 21.8 (fuel cut on). PID changes make no difference, EGO off or on - do difference.
More stuff that may or may not affect problem #1.
2. Warm up can't decide what to do, it gets caught in an oscillating rpm/afr battle until the engine dies.
3. Morning AFR's are different than drive home. Intake air temp compensation doesen't make any difference.
Revrant's tune and help has been great. It had ran very well before the 36-1 and showed none of the above indecisiveness that it has now.
Thanks for the help
