Cam angle sensor losing sync. I just swapped to an ms3x and while there were hiccups they seem to have all been fixed. However, my car will not rev over 4k rpm. I made a log and it shows the cam angle sensor is losing sync at about 4k rpm. Do i need to replace the sensor or is there anything i can do to troubleshoot? Also you guys have been very helpful with all my other stupidity so I thank everyone one here.

 

Nevermind, multimeter was broken as heck and gave me a stupid reading on my vr pots

 

Hi soz for reviving a dead thread but what was the fix for yours? I'm running into an identical issue with my 99, was it just a dodgy sensor?
