My understanding is that it can be done with AEM wideband and 1.5.1 FW.

I have the Perfectuning CAN gauge with wideband. It's hooked directly to the MS.

I can't comment on the quality of the sensor etc, but it has been as good or better than my AEM UEGO so far.

There are a few threads about attaching CAN wideband to the MS3 Basic.
Most use the MS CAN module though to interpret the serial output from sensors directly than talk to the MS3.

So in order to connect the AEM via CAN directly to the MS3 Basic I need fw 1.5+ right ?

What are the basic settings I need to put in TS ? What is the AEM remote CAN ID ?

Thanks !

I have read it a few times before posting, it does not say what is the remote id for the AEM when connected directly to the MS or id there any any other special settings beside disabling CAN broadcasting.

These were the key settings from what I remember. AFAIK this ONLY works with 1.5.1+ firmware and ONLY with the aem X-series 30-0300.

Thanks ! In fact I just got it working before reading your answer.

The fw upgrade via TS was smooth as butter, after disabling "29bit...." and removing the CAN wideband module from the project properties It just worked and it is spot on.
