Default Can you guys take a look at my log/msq

I've been playing around with this, trying to learn the software, I've only had a few hours so far in the miata, and I'll admit I don't know as much about MT as I should.

It was running OK albiet a bit rich until I reflashed this newest map, all I did was change the fuel map, car now has lean tip in...goes stupid ******* rich when it shouldn't...

Everyonce in a while, the idle will just go lean as ****, like 17:1 or so...Can you guys just take a look and give me some suggestions. Last night was also the first time I've ever had problems with idle.

I have a VTPS waiting to go in as well as EBC...but I don't want to just add more problems yet.

Log A is heading to my friends house, log B is taking a friend or two for a ride. The logs are with this MSQ, nothing has been changed.

I dont see lean spikes at idle, only on throttle. looks like you need more fuel during your acceleration enrichments. vtps (TPSdot) will help dramatically with that.

Also, what is with a lot of the off throttle leaning? How do I turn decel fuel cut off, it would make it easier on me for now to read the logs, EVERY time I let off it goes leaner than ****. I can't wait to get the VTPS in there and actually be able to play with it.

Also, I'm idling at 16-17 vac, shouldn't it be closer to 20? and are the off throttle/engine braking sub 20 KPA spots normal?

Anything that would cause a very inconsistent idle AFR? Vac leak maybe? Only seems to **** up after I hot start. Runs stupid lean, trying to find it on a log to show you. Sometimes it goes away if I restart, other times if I just drive for a second it stutters and fixes itself.

Your VE table is why you run so lean. What AFR table are you tuning to? Been hanging around AbeFM too much? My VE table has a lot more fuel in it than yours. Yours is weird. I can tell you how to make it run smooth and strong, but some here think I'm full of ****. But basically I'd tune the VE table richer. And tune it so that you run say 14:1 or so at max vacuum when you shift or engine brake. Then the engine doesn't hickup when you change load. My Ve table for comparison. Smooth as buttah better-than-stock driveability.

targets are 14.4 at idle...when it is running RIGHT I idle at 13.1 Sometimes it just decides to tell me to **** off and go stupid lean/stumble, etc.

Usually its very rich across the board. Unstable though, very bouncy AFRs.
