Default Socal (specifically Inland empire) Local tuners or Etuners

If any one can do an e-tune for miata 1991 with RX-8 420cc injectors, Garrett Turbo (t25/t28) off a sr20 notchtop, 1.6l motor idling safely with a mspnp1 90-93 with the stock MAF. not sure if it matters but I have a a synapse bov intercooler and piping turbo manually set to 12psi. My main issue is if I connect the vacuum like to MSPNP as shown in instructions for install, the car doesn't start and if I pull the 10 fuse that you are told to pull when installed MSPNP1 it does not turn over either. so I have left the vacuum out and the fuse is left inside as well. If anyone is familiar with this if you can inform me on what I am doing wrong I'd be more than happy to try a fix. I can't seem to get the car to actually throttle safely, if I give it gas too fast the car stalls, if I do it slowly it only revs to 4k max. If anyone can send a safe etune, I will pay, or if someone can come see the car, again I will pay. I just need the car to be in a running condition before I take it in for a custom tune.

I bought everyone from someone off facebook, the turbo kit, megasquirt and the injectors. The guy had told me the ECU has a tune set for the build he had someone make for him. Clearly it doesn't work. I have all sensors and plugs connected and all vacuum lines look to be completely sealed. Thank you guys for your time. I am having a hard time learning megasquirt and for some reason when I try to upload base map and adjust injectors the program says there was a compatibility issue something about the tunes being for MSPNP2 but I cannot find the original ones. seems all are for MSPNP2. Sorry guys I'm new here. I usually drive a MINI around and everything is pretty straight forward with those cars.. the program for the miata is like learning a foreign language for me.

Appreciate it. If I posted this in the wrong place just let me know. I will relocate the post.

Just tow it to wherever the pro tune is getting done.

Side note: why are you running the AFM? One if the bug advantagesof MS is getting rid of the AFM, but you chose to run it still. Why?

I'm not sure why but without it using the iat sensor it doesn't want to start.

Well the megasquirt doesn't work with AFM so leaving it hooked up won't do you a bit of good. It doesn't take much of a change to result in one tune running great on one engine and not even starting in another.

I hate to say this but you're in over your head here, you really do need to get the hot mess to a tuner that knows MS and Miata's as there are quite a few subtle nuances that will eat your lunch.

I actually got it running today, i still want a custom tune, but she runs safely, makes solid boost, the problem was i had to reconnect the AFM idk why but it runs great now.

So do you have the internal MAP sensor hooked up? 99% of MS installs don't use the AFM and the ones that do don't work right because MS never really got the code right. Of you do have the MAP sensor hooked up then it just a matter of getting the air temp settings right in the tune.

Whatever you do don't beat on the car till you get it tuned...meaning don't boost it till you can verify AFR's are safe.

Unless you're using it as an IAT sensor, which it sounds like he may be doing.

OP, are you saying it runs with the vacuum line hooked up and the AFM hooked up?

Yeah It is running with both connected. seems to be okay. I just cruised it around for a little bit not any hiccups or anything. My car was very low on gas and I noticed it was well on E so I just stopped for the time being, I only revved the miata till about 4k getting into a little boost. Everything seems fine. my next step is to order the IAT sensor, get a custom exhaust and take it to a tuner

Advance Engine Dynamix recently moved to Corona.

Toby is the owner, and he's the one that tuned my car. I have zero issues.

See 90-93 Fuel pump section here

I believe the STSIGN fuse needs to be disconnected
