Car Dies When Coming to Complete Stop or Downshifting
(SOLVED)
I'm running an FMII kit on an MS3, and just recently started having trouble with the car completely dying - including power steering - when I am slowing down and downshifting around a corner, or when I'm coming to a complete stop. If I step on the throttle quickly, the car jerks and starts up again, but if not, it stays dead.
It started after I had done a few maintenance items - added a heat shield, changed the diff and trans fluids, replaced the heater hoses, and changed out the oil filter. I had also reverted some VE values to be closer to the original base map to help with idle and then VEAL for a few rounds. At first, I thought it might be the heat shield because I had to mess with the ground strap, but I undid it all and the problem persisted.
I hear a clunking at startup that goes away after a few seconds of idling. May or may not be related. I also checked the vacuum lines for crimps.

1. Start using the Closed Loop Idle Initial Value table and get some values in there using the IAC Test mode. Doesn't seem to be caused by this in the attached log, but using last value (in my experience) will contribute to stalling occasionally.
2. On the attached log the AFR seen by MS is 17.9 until the car stalls. The EGO has 25% authority, it may be pulling fuel til the car stalls due to the AFR mismatch. Check the AFR wiring, ground maybe.

I ended up reverting to an old tune that ran well but had a lot of trouble starting. I turned on the Idle VE table and populated it with values from the main VE table in the tune above. It was surprising that there was such a big difference between the VE values.
That cleaned up the car dying issue and startup/idle is somewhat better now.
Thank you for the help and ideas. I'll look into the CLI initial values table.
