she finally started
charged the battery today, reflashed ms extra code since i fuxored it up last time with an empty battery, reconnected the coils and she started on the first turnover
O2's not even in yet since it wouldn't calibrate on an empty battery, so that'll come tomorrow.
idles right at 850-900 rpm and sounds like a beast
I loaded the pnp map for the '94-'95 since I lost Scott's
more tuning tomorrow

Go into your spark settings and set your timing angle. Turn off the +22.5 menu and just adjust the trigger angle. Follow the instructions written in the FAQ or at mspnp.com, they even have a video on it.
Congrats.
Congrats.

LC-1 done, car still starts but idles very rough at around 500 rpm
also need to redo the easytherm crap, IAT shows way too high and CLT reads -40...
yesterday it showed something else, but too high also
more to come I guess...

still not getting decent IAT and CLT readings. I created the easytherm files with RX7 defaults for the CLT and the GM defaults for the IAT, burned the .s19 file to the MS. But IAT reads 34 degrees celsius (it is warm here, and my car's been in the sun for a good amount of time, so underhood temps might seem ok though..) but CLT stays at -40 degrees celsius...
where do I go from here?
I had a hard time getting the .s19 file burnt, as it gave me a error 13 type mismatch. I forgot to change my laptop to English/US settings, so that's fixed.

So, when you ran Easytherm, you selected "Custom" as the type, and let's say you fed it the file msns-extra.s19 as its input. It would have produced an output file called msns-extra_mod.s19, in the same directory as the original, and this is the one you used to flash with, right?
It also created three files in \Program Files\EasyTherm, called airdenfactor.inc, matfactor.inc, and thermfactor.inc. These need to be copied manually to \Program Files\Megasquirt\Megatune2.25\mtCfg. Otherwise, regardless of what the MS actually sees, MT will report bogus data to you. MS reports raw ADC values, and MT translates them into human locally.

correct, i replaced the 3 .inc files in mtcfg folder with the new ones made with easytherm and flashed the fresh .s19 file to the MS.
I'll go out and try again now, and see what happens next.

Could be a wiring issue, could be an internal MS issue. But it looks like you're getting no reading at all on CLT.
Incidentally, MAT = 85°C?

Oh god. I feel like such a retard. In my urge to make sure no coils would be messed up while flashing firmware, I think I unhooked the injector harness too
still, MAT seems a tad high doesn't it?
I'll plug in the injectors and report back.
edit: fixed. CLT now reads 26 degrees celsius.

MAT reads even higher? does it heatsoak that bad? everything under the hood is cool to the touch
