Default car won't rev past 2000-2500 rpm

tried everyones map, don't think the maps are the problem, something strange is going on because my tachometer don't work. i've spent way too much money on this car and haven't really been happier than just the stock ecu running the show. am seriously considering just running off the stock ecu and afm and just selling everything off.

so is it like your car just does not have the power to push past 2500rpm? or is it like a hard cut off at those rpm. If it is the first problem, i would bet it is a weak spark in one to all four cylinders. Stock Tachometer is triggered by the coilpack. I think you should check for spark in all four cylinders and pay attention to how loud the crack is as it is an indicator of how strong the spark is. My guess is that one of the following items need to be replaced: The plugs, wires, coilpack, or ignitor.

ps dont throw in the towel just yet, I had an ignitor that went bad on me and caused me a huge headache for a few weeks until I fixed the problem.

Mine did this, try unplugging the TPS wire and having another go.
