Bump for answers on MSQ and here is the datalog from tonight. If I did it right...

Since it looks like I'm on my own here, and since Braineack won't get back to me with a new copy of the base map, I'll just babble along with my findings and someone can chime in if they like.

Looking at the datalog, not knowing exactly what I am looking at, I see that the fuel pressure drops into the negative numbers when the car is cranking. Then goes back up when I stop. So, no fuel pressure while cranking? Any ideas?

Forget the "fuel pressure" indication. It's meaningless.

The first interesting thing is that we do have an RPM indication in the log. So something probably isn't configured right in your MT dashboard, which accounts for the lack of a reading there.

OTOH, there's no DC1 or PW1 indication- the MS isn't trying to squirt. Your cranking table looks ok, and you're set to squirt both channels when cranking. I did notice one odd looking thing- under "More Cranking", check this out:

Have a look at this screen on yours and see if you've got the same thing. Might just be some weirdness in the export from one MT to another, but make sure you don't have "2,300" in that field. Set it to 300 or so. Also, bump flood clear up to a much larger value, like 200.

One last thing- how's your battery? For some reason, in the first part of the log BattV is around 11, but in the second, it's down in the 7's.

Forgot to mention something. Sunday night I moved my msq to the desktop, completely erased MT, then went through the install instructions again. I actually completed a step in the instructions that said (piggybacks only) but it gave me my rpm signal.

The battery drops to 7 volts when the car is cranking. I will make the changes that you mentioned and give it another shot. Thanks.

Those settings pretty much translate into "completely shut off the injectors below 2300 RPM."

Not sure what I did there.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I didn't touch those settings, but I do remember going into that screen to see what all was there. I wonder if it reset or something when I closed the window.

Car started right up after I fixed those two numbers. Now I have a high surging idle to deal with. Hopefully get some tuning time in later this week between the snow/rain.

Like I said above, I never touched those settings. They must have changed themselves somehow.
