Sorry for the late reply, been rolling with the punches this semester. The way revlimiter mounted the seats seems better than the flipside brackets if using with the oem sliders. The way I mounted mine makes them almost stupidly low for average height people. I had a shorter friend ride in my car last week and she was literally eye level with the dash board.

Back on startup: After some experimenting it is 100% related to timing. It seems the car would just really prefer to be held at a static timing for the first few seconds after startup. My issue is this is only a problem at first start and besides that I dont want my timing map to be a static number in that area.

I thought of doing table switching for timing where one table is static in that area and one is my current table but there doesn't seem to be a good option for the switch that would make it only active for the first few seconds after a first start.

My other option is just set my current timing map to 20ish in any of the cells it can run through after startup and just rely on idle advance to have a lower timing value once the car is up and running. I'm just worried this will introduce Idle issues to my tune again.

Yes and if you remember I did update your surrounding cells a while ago battling this issue. Its really tricky to dial in both but doable. I'd also note that not all nb's, or even miata's actually have this issue. You and a few others seem to be a lot more impacted by it than normal. No idea why, since you're using all top-notch parts.

Haha, seems like I for some reason get the worst case of a lot of issues

Anyways, here I set minimum timing in the area to 20 and still get a pretty prominent dip.
