Default Just ordered a 94/95 MS PnP

I just ordered the soon to be released MS PnP for 94/95 with the AFM/MAF delete. Currently the car is E-Managed(blue) and tuned by OG. Intercooler piping was done by TurboTim to a 18x12x3 core IC. Hopefully he'll be doing a 3" exhaust for me soon. The car is my gutted 94, weighing in at under 2000 lbs.

My questions are:

Where can I find the Knocksense MS knock sensor? I don't see it listed on the diyautotune site anywhere.

Anyone in NJ fluent in MS? I plan on attacking the install and tuning myself but it'll be the first time. A local expert could come in handy.

another 2 questions:

Am I correct in understanding that the MS can read my AEM WBO2 output and auto-tune similiar to what OG's auto-tune module does with the narrowband output?

and should i lose the narrowband?

The install is stupid easy. Since Jerry's taking orders for the MM9495, I think it's OK to say that I've had the second beta unit (Jerry's was first, obviously) in my car and running my turbo setup for about a month now. I re-rounted the wiring harness into the glovebox, since my passenger seat is bolted to the floor and access is a major PITA, so I can't comment on the physical routing, but the rest of it was pretty easy. Jerry's instructions are very good; it was by far the easiest piece of the entire setup to install.

The KnocksenseMS can be had at www.viatrack.ca. Boris was insanely fast, even though his ordering system is via email. He claims 2-3 weeks since he's in Canada, but I had my unit in under a week. Very easy to install. The hardest part is finding a place on the block to mount a knock sensor; I think I'm going to un-jew myself and get the piece that FM sells. It'll be my first actual parts order from FM.

You will need the connector from an OBD-II Miata, either a '96 or a '97, to install the wideband and knock sensor and hook them up to the MS. I did it with bullet connectors crimped down and wrapped in electrical tape, but it is the definition of ghetto and I really need to find that connector myself.

Yeah. There is an auto-tune feature, and as long as you have the MS and the AEM calibrated the same way (so they're reading accurately), you'll be fine. I ditched the narrowband and put the wideband in its place.
