So I bought a MS2 daugtherboard with the intention of upgrading my MS1 thinking the additional CPU power may help with the larger injectors. I followed Brain's how to and ended up with no tach signal. I reverted the changes then figured I would buy another MS kit to build on the side. That way I could take my time to mod it for the MS2, then end up with another megasquirt as a backup which I always wanted.

I built the MS1/2 PCB and plugged the old CPU in place. After firing the car up, I could tell it idled a lot better and the throttle seemed more responsive. Taking it for a drive, it was night/day better and never even smelled a sign of any richness.

I swapped in the 650 injectors and everything was still similar. It drove great and there was no hesitation like before nor any weird off idle stumbles to 3k.
I pulled the plugs and WOW, no richness on plugs 2/4. Problem finally solved!!!

With this 2nd MS build, I didn't do anything different, other than a slightly different approach when putting in the PWM valve, and of course I didn't jack up the install of Q13 which caused me to relocate the transisitor when I messed up the solder pad. Maybe it's one of those two things on the old board I'll have to investigate further.

I figure I'll run in this config for now and see how it runs before upgrading to the MS2 daughterboard.

Anyway, glad I can missfire problem behind me! Been a solid two months.
