Default DBWX2 - anyone checked this out yet?

Looks like someone has built the hardware to do DBW w/ an MS3. Am curious to hear how well it works, lots of opportunities for use in custom power limiting maps and traction control.

Although cool, this highlights the lack of development of the MS3.
Any other aftermarket ECU offers DBW out of the box: Haltech Elite 2500, ECUMaster EMU Black, AEM Infinity series 5, Fueltech FT550, Link G4 Fury, MaxxECU sport and others.
I cannot think of any reason why you would spend 420 euros to jerry rig a throttle controller to a 10 year old ECU other than already owning a MS3.
If you are doing a new installation pick a modern ECU and be done.

No personal experience. Just saying that's a current alternative.

I got the mslabs DBW module up and running, drives nice, car is currently getting a retune, due to the changed flow with the NC throttle body...

Dimi did his own firmware parts for the DBW stuff, and as I know him- it's a piece of programming art... ;-)

I ordered via SPS Motorsport over here in Germany- but I think you can just drop @Reverant an PN.
