To make a long story short, I bought an MS3 unit from Brain awhile back, worked fine, ran fine, all was well.

Trying to tune back in september, and while connecting to the ECU it suddenly lost all power and car would not start. Noticed the lights weren't coming on for the MS3. Pulled it apart, and saw a blown C16 cap.

Replaced the C16 with the same, and still no power. Car turns over and runs (awfully) with the factory ECU plugged in, but not with the MS3 plugged in.

I'm at a loss now, any advice or troubleshooting is welcome.
