I did free air calibrate it, I'm not running a wire, I have it spliced into my stock harness (I was asking if I need to run a wire) and yes I did.

I installed the the wideband before I had Megasquirt installed and it worked great at first, but then it was throwing weird readings and stopped working on my stock car so that's why I think I need a new sensor.

ahh, the that may be the case. Did you get the LC1 second hand? I keep seeing people having problems with the LC-1 however i have nothing but good things to say about the MTX-L i have and others i have installed. Try getting a new sensor and go from there.

Yeah I bought it second hand off a turbo Honda. I'm going to get my car tuned tomorrow, otherwise I would get a MTX-L but no old has any locally. The new sensor should fix it.

Calibrated the new sensor and installed it, reads great again. Good thing this thread actually has answers for people haha.

Still do not know if it fixed the gauge in TS, but it did fix my gauge.

So i got new wires from a guy on the forum and when i put them in now it is misfiring, i thought it was my megasquirt, then i put everything back and it is still doing it. i tried putting my old wires in but something happened when i took them out and they will not clip back onto my plugs. something with this rubber boot i think, they are obx while the new ones are ngk.

Brand new wires. And it won't start. It starts to turn over then dies. When it does start it misfires.

Looks like 4-1-2-3, which is right. 4-3-2-1 also works because wasted spark.

Then I'm at a loss. Wires are literally the only thing I changed. I have a brand new set, wired correctly, and all it does is start to turn over then it dies. I checked my battery for voltage, 12.4 volts.

The person before me did something crazy and they were all mixed up. I had a picture from before and it started after I put them the same way. Yay. We are done.

He may have switched the inputs to the coils so you had to put 2&3 on the passenger side, and 1&4 on the driver's side, at least that's my guess. Before pics are good things.

you could have also fouled the plugs, it can happen fast. Go get a new set.
