DIYPNP Wont Start
4 Attachment(s)
Hi, Im helping to get my sisters boyfriends miata running on the DIYPNP that he put together. The car isn't getting spark and appears to not be getting the CAS signal. I've hooked my DIYPNP up to his car and it starts fine, so its not the coils or igniter. Were using the latest firmware and have tried both the tune that i have for my car and the base tune from DIYautotune with no luck. The only difference i could see when comparing our boards is he is wired for AC where i am not. We also removed R39 on his board per this thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...-diypnp-69379/.
Attached are pictures of the top and underside of the board with the Microsquirt removed. Any help is appreciated! https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1396114088 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1396114088 |
Can you take a few more zoomed in pictures? It's a little hard to see the connections.

Can you post a composite log and a copy of your MSQ?

Here is the current tune we were trying, sorry for the late reply. As for the composite log, the motor is now out of the car to replace it with a semi built motor. Until the swap is complete i wont be able to do one.
Thanks, Mike |
Ok, I was able to get the first problem figured out, there were wires jumper ed incorrectly. Now the car is only firing on two cylinders..... Any help??
Thanks, Mike |
Never mind I got it running!
Thanks, Mike |
