Default MS1 transient/light throttle tuning?

Does anyone have any tips to improve drivability regarding transient/part/rolling throttle tuning?

It seems only MS2 is capable of getting good results using EAE features etc.

My tune is nice, but I hate the little niggle of light load acceleration between low rpm gear shifts of say 3krpm and then having a feeling of no response as you lightly roll back onto the throttle. AE has nothing to do with it as Im talking about very lightly rolling on the throttle between say 2.5-3kprm for 3-4seconds and acceleration feeling dead until RPM increases.

Is MS2 the only way?

Shouldn't be mate, if AE hasnowt to do with it EAE ain't gonna help

what are the AFRs doing when this flat spot happens?

AFRs are nice at 14-14.7:1. Perhaps timing needs to be bumped at few degrees in these cell regions?

Give it a go, try richer too, if you're increasing engine speed (however slowly) I'd have richer afr's.

I never had any issues with my MS1; I used TPSdot and it worked just as good as my current MS2.

After checking logs I've narrowed the problem area down to ~2.5krpm and the 55-75kpa load area. I had noticed that my AFR target was attempting to hit 15.5:1 too early in the rev range at 2.5-3.5krpm (motorway cruise). Gego was pulling on the AFRs too making them roll leaner. This is the reason why - what a n00b eh?

Anyway, I'm glad I sorted it.
