Hi,

The engine is bp-z3 with megasquirt 2 pnp. Coils, trigger, etc original bp-z3. Swapped on na.

The car has been running and starting fine for years but has now developed an issue when starting hot.

If I start the car when engine is cold or has been sitting for over an hour, it starts ok. When I start the car immediately or in 10 seconds after turning off it starts ok.

But if the car sits for approx 1-15minutes when turning the engine off, it wont start. Will have to wait for approx an hour and it starts just fine.

Changed all the engine related relays, fuel pump is turning, changed coils, plugs, but these didnt help.

I took a datalog when trying to start the car when its not starting. I'll attach it.

Any ideas what could be wrong or malfunctioning?

 

I'm guessing you have a leaky injector.

 

What's up with your battery? It only shows 10-11V

 

You are running the NB cam sensor? They tend to die when hot but work when cool when they are on the way out

 

The battery is an 680 24ah odyssey. No problems starting the car when cold.

Changed the cam and crank sensor as well. Still wont start when hot.

 

Sorry to necro the thread but did you ever get it fixed? I am having an almost identical issue right now and am struggling to figure it out...
