I see, so for the moment I could just unplug the factory tps and all should be well? I'll try that tonight

 

And it runs!!! Thanks for all the help guys. Matt it looks like you were right on with the 5v ref. being the prob. Tried it with the factory tps unplugged and everything sprung to life. Idles for about 15-20 sec and then slowly drops revs and dies. But I have yet to set the timing (its still locked at 10 deg.) and have made NO adjustments. I just got it to run and then switched back to the oe ecu. I will run the whole setup procedure in the morning.
