Finally joined VTPS club, calibration numbers, TPS AE
Finally wired up the 94 VTPS to my MS3x. I've got an issue and a couple questions.
What kind of numbers are normal for throttle %? I tried messing with the calibration numbers and right now it doesn't go above 7% closed throttle, but if I snap it and let go, the number sits at -50% or so. WOT is at about 170%. I don't know how relevant this is, or if the MS just looks for a low number vs a high number. closed throttle ADC = 670, WOT ADC = 850. I shaved some off the top and added some to the lower number. How important is this really? I searched and found that some people experienced this, but the difference isn't as big as mine.
Also, now that I have a functioning VTPS, does anyone want to share their time based accel enrichment settings? I've had it to 100% MAP 0% TPS (for obvious reasons), and now I don't know what everyone uses/what would be a good idea. I was going to just leave it at 50/50 for now unless someone has better luck with different numbers.

The problem is my calibration numbers will change drastically depending on if the car is running or off when I do the calibration, and will change just from snapping the throttle a few times to completely different numbers.

Alright, so I'm going to finish this thread so that there isn't 1000 of these threads with no ******* solution at the end.
Braineack pretty much said what I'm going to say below in some random thread that I never found so it can't hurt if I post it a second time.
These directions:
"For a '94-'97 TPS, assuming you have a pigtail for the new 4-wire TPS, splice the red / black wire of the TPS to the red wire of the car's harness. Splice the green / white wire of the TPS to the green / white wire of the car's harness. Splice the black / blue wire of the TPS to the black / green wire of the car's harness. The red wire of the TPS will be unused."
ARE INCORRECT FOR MS3x. (and probably for a lot of other megasquirts)
The correct way:
Splice black/blue from TPS to black/green of car
Splice Red/black from TPS to green/white of car
Splice green/white from TPS to red of car.
TPS numbers are perfect now.
