Default Finally spent the $$$

I went by DIYautotune at lunch and picked up my mega squirt kit. I finally got tired of reading posts from everyone else building their own. I'm sure I'll have a slew of questions when I get started this weekend. Who knew I'd be looking forward to a potentially rainy weekend?

I got to talk with Jerry for a few minutes. They have some interesting projects going on over there...

Man once you start building it you'll realize that it's more than worthwhile to build it yourself. Specially if you have any sort of hiccups and people are helping you troubleshoot hardware. You'll actually understand what the hell they're saying when taking about the rs232 or R17 for ex.

That's awesome Scott. I'll have to bum a ride from you once you get it in.

I'll definitely show it off when I get it in... who knows how long it will take, though!

that would be tough as it's in a box headed back to colorado, where a voodoo doctor will perform a fixerectomy and then send it back. So you have at least 20 days head start.

20 days, that is a good head start! The wife goes home to visit her family in a few weeks for spring break, perhaps that will give me the free time I need...
