Default Flat Spot on RPM at Start

Please see the log shot, and I'll post the log as well.

Issue I have tried to overcome is that, almost always, no matter what I try to do with fueling, air, and Advance in the table where this might occur, I get a kind of flat spot on the RPM. It is almost as if the 1st cylinder hits and then the next one misses, and then the car starts.

Occasionally this will not occur and I will get a steady rise (no zero or negative RPMDot).

I'm wondering if this is a result of the 4 tooth Crank Wheel, and that my efforts are wasted trying to solve this with that wheel being used.

Other symptom is that the car will shake a bit, making me think that the "pause" in acceleration is real.

This may not be the best example, because the effect is not real bad. However, often I do get a negative RPMDot at that roughly 500 RPM point.

Upgrade to the 36-2 wheel.

Do you recommend leaving 1st derivative anticipation on, after the change?

It doesn't hurt, I have it on with the 36-2 wheel.

I finally found the answer to this issue.

Adding 36x2 wheel made no difference.

I had added Idle vavle PWM compensation with voltage. Since starting pulls voltage down, the instance car went from Start to Run, IAC was jumping open an additional 10%. Apparently this caused an upset that prevented a smooth RPM increase.
