I'm assuming you have a 1.6. Where did you buy it from? Why don't you ask them? Or ask Reverent, aka owner of MSLabs. I would not expect case modifications.

I have a 1994 1.8, I bought direct from reverant. I emailed him, i just thought I might get a quick response here since I was hoping to install it today.

The Mini for the 90-93 and 94-95 does require that you widen the opening for the connector. You need to drill holes for the USB cable and vacuum lines as well. If you don't want to cut the larger opening, the 96-00 ECU case will work well.
