Tuning Table Size VE and Advance POLL inside
Hi, If you have any experience with standalones, or, if you don't but you have some opinion, I'd like to hear it. I'm at the point of deciding on table sizes for the main functions VE (fuel) and Advance (ignintion).

Sure, BUT you have separate cranking configuration etc. Also, you are running mild 14psi boost and revving to maybe 7k?
What about the bike guys that push 30psi into 15krpm engines? We wanna take care of them too :-)
So, for your configuration it would need to be 16 rpm x 12 load to keep you happy (remembering cranking etc). Anything above that is fine by you right? Baring in mind that you don't have to use it all, you can just set the rest of the rows to zero and the axis to way too high etc.

Hardware wise, it's an open book. IE, Miatas being popular, you can bet once it's prooven to work well someone will pick it up and build a miata PNP FreeEMS. It's only a matter of time really (quite a bit of it).
There must be a few insane B6 builds on here? B6 is short stroke so built it could rev pretty high and push a lot of boost.
I should also add that the AFR table will be much smaller as there is much less requirement for resolution there. Some guys were suggestion 3 points and interpolation, but I think 8x8 for AFR is a minimum and VE table size is the maximum, but a waste of space/time.
