Default high VE Table numbers

After spending some time tuning and getting close to 14.7 AFR 80kpa and below, my table looks a bit off. I'm at 65-70 by 32kpa across all rpm and 80 by 100kpa . 50 or so for idle. Seems kinda high. I've tried messing around with the req fuel but didnt get too far with it, had to go too high to even get decent results. I'm currently at 13 now which I should be for a 1.6 with stock injectors. I also tried using the mspnp base map for a 1.6 and i can barely get the car to run even at a req fuel of 20. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Those numbers jive with my map just fine dude what where you expecting 10 at idle and 20 at 100% it is a figurative measure of VE not fuel flow or anything else. tune by what feels good not what the numbers say on VE they could say 100 or they could say 30 doesn't matter so long as it feels good. what AF's are you getting in the boost transition ie 100kpa range. you want closer to 13-1 and then edge towards 12-1 while in boost adjusting as needed the PNP map is for NA motor of course it will not do well in boost. If you like i can send you my map, VE is VE dude. The pulsewidth etc is adjusted with the req fuel in relation to the VE. So if the Req fuel is right for 212 cc/min on a 96 cu,inch motor you should be set up right barring leaks etc.

I typically have it tuned around 39-41 at idle. make sure your REQ_FUEL is setup correctly and your car is fully warmed and you have no other helpers on, like warmup or EGO.

You think that's high, my table is up around 115 at WOT in the higher RPMs.

My idle was around 38-41 as far as I can remember as well.

Maybe it isnt so bad as it does seem to work. I do get close to 14.7 afr everywhere, 13 afr between 80-100 kpa and 12 in boost. It just didn't look like any other maps i've seen. I think I'm also going to check my fuel pressure anyways, never done it before =/

Also Magna, mind sending me your table? I'd like to see as many other maps as I can for reference. Curious how othere people are getting good results. Thanks

sure try this
Name: fuel.jpg

Size: 78.3 KB I had good idle with this it would be a little high until i warmed up a little then it was pretty steady on 900-930 rpm, and 850-900 rpm with AC on, and 800-850 rpm with AC + brights. Cold idle was around 1200-1300 rom until i got abit of heat into the motor ie 30+ deg C.

Here's what I've got so far which seems to be working. Anyone think having the vortec still connected is a bad thing?
