Sorry I should have worded the question properly.
Ok so how much more power/ responsiveness can a remapped ecu offer to the stock map?
Just want to know some figures for a stock engine remaps

no i wouldnt say that. they go way too rich at higher rpm and spark isnt optimized well to my knowledge. on a 120hp natrually aspirated engine, 10 hp is alot for just a tune. its not like your going to gain 30% or something. this is all assuming you have removed the afm.

Down low on the 1.6 is ten times better. You can run stupid advance, but still keep reasonable top end. I believe factory runs 10 degrees idle, turning the CAS to 14 is common "bandaid" mod that supposedly kills top end, basemap MS runs 17+ and increases from there. AC sure seems to take less of a bite out of idle too, I no longer shut it off before leaving from a stop.
I <3 my MS miata, and I still have tuning left to do. I already think I'm running smoother and better than stock under normal driving, except for some tuning I've left to do on EAE. Sequential fuel injection and new style fuel injectors help there
Sure seems a lot easier to break traction mid corner now, from lower RPMs or higher gears. I don't care about top end, since I never really go there, but down low, butt-dyno says it's much better.
Early stock miata didn't have much feedback, so it has to stay stupid safe...
