Default Iat sensor

Need help, can iat sensor that used with mspnp be used with the link ecu? Btw, my car is 95.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the “GM” IAC typically used with MS installs. Yes it can be used with Link, any resistance sensor can with the proper calibration. However it’s not called “GM” in link software, do some research and you’ll find what it’s called, im not in front of my computer at the moment.

”It's impossible to use the GM sensor as it's a resistor, the FMLINK ECU was originally a LINK ecu completely re-written from the ground up by a guy called Ray Alyla for FM. The original LINK didn't even have an air temp sensor.


Ray got around this with clever programming but it means you need a specific sensor to get it to work.

Said temp sensor is more complex than a simple resistor as it's a small PCB with a few circuits on it.”

Ah, I'm familiar with Link ECUs from 2013+, not the one released in 1995.
