Hello all, I have been reading here for quite awhile and finally have to ask a question. In preparation for MSPNP and 12P.S.I. I need to choose injector size, but I have concern about idle pulse width. In the Mega Manual the calculation Req fuel x VE x Map + Inj opening time results in lower than recomended idle pulse widths. Using 5.8 for req fuel for 600cc and 7.6 for 460cc injectors as calculated from Mega Tune here is what I come up with.
5.8 x 30% x 30/100 + 1.0= 1.52 or...
7.6 x 30% x 30/100 + 1.0= 1.68 Both lower than the 1.7 they advise. The Map and KPA are estimates from the manual. Is my math skewed? Most seem to run 550cc but idle quality is seldom mentioned as being a problem. Thanks for looking.
