Influence of timing on idle with 460cc?

Hi,
my rebuild engine is up and running. I still have the problem that I have a hard time to get the idle stable with the 460cc at around 14.3-14.7. I let the car warm up, tune the idle to 14.7 and have a stable idle - I go for a ride, stop the car and it bogs and stalls because it's idling way too lean.
Has the timing something to do with that? (*16 or 17° at the moment at idle)
The IAC is not heatsoaked, we had IAC temps of *18°C (because it's quite cold here at the moment).
What else am I doing wrong.
Idle is fine if tuned to ~13.5 AFR.
Thanks

Have you tried to retard the timing? You have to play around with timing and throttle. I have a stable idle with 440 cc injectors @ 14.7. If your goal is a rock steady idle go for factory setting -> timing = 10 degrees. That’s my experience.
