Default inturnal usb adapter
i am using the inturnal usb adapter for the MS that i got from DIY, and i am trying to use hyperterminal to test its function. Can this be done??

is the serial connection useless after the inturnal usb adapter is installed?

It "should" be, you just dont want to plug both in at the same time.

I wish I could help more, I plan on adding the usb in the future but havent used it yet.

well if u look at the instructions on the diy site, u disconnect the leads to the chip that controls it....

oh, I guess that answers your question then. I hadn't looked at the instructions, I assumed it just piggybacked the connections.
