Default Launch control has me stumped.

I cannot for the life of me figure out launch control on my 99.

I am running an MS2PNP. Their manual says to remove the launch jumper from the ECU and literally nothing else. I should be able to use the car's clutch switch for launch. When I did have this jumper in, launch control DID work (sort of). The rev limiter was always on. In gear, neutral, ALWAYS. Without this jumper, nothing. I cannot get launch to activate.

Do I need another switch? If so, how is it wired? Do I have to have a wire coming in to the options port launch pin regardless of my clutch switch jumper situation? If so, where does that go? Why doesn't the manual say so if it does need this?

I'm only posting because I am desperate, and I have spent several months searching, reading and re-reading in my spare time with 0 good answers. I'm also 6'3'' and getting sick of contorting myself upside down, reaching my large hands up in to the dash to repeatedly remove the ECU to try and get this working.

I've checked, double checked and triple checked my wiring. Every switch and wire works properly.

I feel like this is way too simple for me to be this confused.

Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue as you but with or without the launch jumper in my launch control is always activated. I disconnected safety neutral switch. I even snipped the clutch(brown and white) wire that goes to the ecu and launch still is on. I tried changing inputs to different options but it still stays on. At this point I dont know what to do
