Default launch control possibility?

was wondering if this would work:

you wire a momentary switch to an electromagnet, that is put at the point of having the clutch fully pressed. As long as the button is held, the clutch will not come up. (has to be a strong electromagnet to be able to hold back the force of the pedal)
Since the pedal is still depressed, you can floor the gas and have the MS bring you up to preprogrammed launch RPM

Once you release the switch, power is lost to the electromagnet releasing the clutch pedal, and then you are good to go, then just shift like normal or like a crazed lunatic with flat shift, ect...

any reasons why this would not work?

it would remove the fractions of a sec it takes the human body to act and move your leg to just removing you finger off a small button

Or you could just sidestep the clutch.

You can set the MS launch control to 10 degrees ATDC... that should get you that 'touch of antilag'. Don't expect your turbo to last forever though.... the exploding turbo is the infamous anti-lag side effect.

Hopefully you aren't running a greddy, the manifolds blow up just fine without antilag

I've heard that before, but the fact that I own a Greddy mani that has 100k+ miles on it, I'm not too concerned.

Yeah, I'm not actually going to do it but if I had an endless supply of disposable turbos I would. :gay:
