location of 12v in engine bay?
Trying to find 12v+ in engine bay that is still on even when cranking the engine. I was using the 12v off the blue connector but that doesn't stay on when you crank the engine. Anyone know a location on the drivers side that has 12v to it even while cranking?
Thanks
Thanks
I just run a jumper cable out the trunk up to the front. Might not be the best idea but I still can't find a +12v blue plug on my '99. '97 has one tho. No idea what still has power at crank though. I thought everything cut out on key turn. In for this info too.

I figure the CAS, igintor, coils maybe getting 12v even with cranking just fine.

^This. That's where I got my power from for my LC-1. Make sure you put a fuse on it so when it strips itself on the hole you drilled through your firewall, it doesn't glow red and melt all kinds of ----. (I know from experience, that was a bad day).

Not totally sure if it's on while cranking, but I use the 12V from the AC fan relay (no AC or second fan) for a number of stuff behind the driver side headlight (transponder etc).
For the timing light, I steal juice from the headlamp H4 connector.
