So much cleaner now and checking base timing should be a snap. Also installed 550cc injectors so im about to go play with it a bit.

Here is how it looked before. i never did like that bling bling air scoop.

i misread this the first time. I wired the fuel pump directly to megasquirt and tapped into the wire at the diag port.

I like that intake! I'd use it over the filtered shortram off the turbo. Or maybe run the intake to the firewall as some have done?

Love the updates to your project. I can't wait to dig into mine, so much to do and so little time.

lol, well i dont think ill be using that air filter any more. I was driving home and it fell out last night and i ran over it. Im a dumbass and didnt mount it properly. However i would like to say that driving no filter makes nice bov noise even though its recirc.

oh yeah, my god does the turbo sound freakin sweet now that i can spool it up actually. Lots more power and with the glasspack muffler it is absolutely beautiful sounding.

What are you going to do with that aluminum intake duct now?

Might I purchase it? I am wanting to do an intake like that... and was dreading the fab work. Also... would that come with the hose from the AFM to the filter?

I am a bit hesitant about selling pieces of the kit other than the fuel and timing control. Also, the afm has been relocated slightly and rotated. Honestly i dont see how it could be hooked up to a stock motor, but i dont know what your intake is like with the sebring.

oh no no no.. this is in anticipation for the turbo coversion I'm doing in the Spring. I wanted to do an intake like you have taking in cold air from over top of the radiator.

No, i have it running standalone. Infact, i am having issues with the car currently. I probably screwed it up somehow but im gonna go through all the wiring and after that I dont know. Anyway, while it was running it merely idled a bit high ... like 9k - 11k rpm and it would fluctuate between those two every one to two seconds.

But ya, no codes because no ecu to throw one If the damn thing would just start and run smoothly I would be very very satisfied. Im not satisfied yet.

Sounds like you need to look at your ignition timing table at idle plus the idle valve.

ya but i had priorities, and first priority was not tuning idle, it was getting the system overall to run fine with no major hiccups first, the little hiccups like idle will be adressed when i get Megasquirt running properly.

edit: btw, you running standalone megasquirt with no pwm idle control too?

No, I'm running the MS in parallel. The NB8C has just too much stuff going on under the hood to ditch the stock ECU.
