So basically, ive been tuning for the longest time with my windows pc but now i got a new macbook air and would like to be able to use it. Its been a long time since i set up tuner studio and i dont know where the USB definitions i had before came from, when i hit detect i have to wait about 30 seconds and it doesn't pick anything up...help me im confused!!!

 

I can't recall specifically what I did with mine as it was around a year ago, but I remember having to install additional drivers in order for the USB/Serial adapter to work properly.
They're a little rough around the edges, if I unplug the USB while there's any data transfer between TunerStudio & my mac, the computer completely locks up.
Not super helpful I know, but basically you first need to make sure the serial adapter is being recognized by OSX.
