Default 9697 MSPNP- lean after restart

Here is the scenario. The car starts up fine from cold and warms up normally. After the car has warmed up to operating temperature I can shut the car off and restart it. Once again it will restart fine, but it will run really lean, say 17.0 or so on the AFR's, for short while. The car is driveable, and when driving, the car has good AFR's, around 14.5 at cruise. Once I come to a stop the AFR's are back to normal for idle. I am not sure what to check in Megatune to correct the problem. Do I need to adjust my ASE at the 160 degree mark? I havent messed with the ASE since I got it from DIY. I dont think it would be the cranking PW since the car starts a-ok.

As always, thanks guys.

Does it drive ok? If so, leave it alone. If you need some more fuel, it's in the coolant related temperature correction--which actually is AIT based correction to combat heat soaked AIT sensor. Which is what your problem is.

I get the same issue. If I beat on the car and then stop, or if I restart after driving it on a hot day, it goes lean. As Ben said, it's IAT correction.

10g fixed my heatsoak issues where I almost don't even need the ait corrections anymore. with 029v i had like 120% at 85*F. IIRC I'M at 110% at 95*F, something like that.

The car it drives fine. No complaints there. The only issue with the lean after start is that the car wants to stall if I back out of a parking spot. For that, I just have to modulate the throttle while backing out. The other minor issue is that I cant turn on the A/C few a few secs until after going down the road.
The explaination helped me understand the cause. Thanks to all of you for your advise.
