Hello everyone, i build this megasquirt based on this guide

its suppose to be built for a 1990 eunos 1.6.

however, my car refuses to start on inverted spark, it starts on normal spark but does not run well, or is drivable by anymeans and does not idle,
also another main problem i am having is tuner studio is seeing nearly double the rpm then my stock cars tach.

any help would be greatly appreciated as i am close to giving up with this, been at it for ages and now thinking i should have just gone with the pnp route.

I would honestly just suck it up and buy the MS3 daughterboard and expansions board. Then follow the guide on trubokitty.com for building a MS3X for you model year. You will get much more help and support, as next to no one runs regular ms2's in the miata world, and a whole host of better options and tuning ability with the MS3X.

 

at a glance it actually looks correctly built; just messy.

what firmware and basemap are you using?
