Megasquirt Errors when trying to load basemap
Going to start by saying I am a complete and total Megasquirt noob. All I want to do is be able to get the car started and get it to a shop for a proper tune.
I have been struggling with the Megasquirt since I bought it 4 years ago, I have never been able to get a car running on it and has caused my Miata to sit for 2 years out of frustration.
I have a MS2 with a 11G base map and I tried to load a base map from 3.3.1 base map from MegaSquirtPNP by DIYAutoTune.com
I am getting the 150 attached errors, do I need to be worried about any of them? will the car start?
Car Details:
90 with 1.8 swap
MS2 with 11G base map
550cc injectors
GT28 (from a s14)
3 Inch downpipe and exhaust
2.5 tubing with large intercooler

Generally just ignore them. It is most likely because you are using a newer base map on an older firmware. The car should be able to start on it. Have you gone through it all to make sure your settings are correct?
Does it read any rpm when you are trying to start it? Does the fuel pump prime?

you need to create and set up a project for your car with all the correct parameters and sensor calibrations. then open the pnp msq in a temp project and save the fuel table, afr, and spark table. File->Save dialog settings
then go back into the tune you set up for your car and load the tables individually. File->Load dialog settings
this will allow you to have the tune set up for your car and version of MS, but with some tables to start with.
don't expect it to start first try though, but it will get you close
