Default MEGASQUIRT RELATED - EBAY SELLER: kingefi

Does anyone know what happened to this Ebay seller (kingefi) who used to sell assembled Megasquirt I V3.0 and MS II units? I purchased a unit (MS V 3.0) from this guy (Matt Walker) about 3 months ago, havent received it up to know.

I sent several emails to the seller on this matter, finally got a reply about 4 weeks ago indicated he would look into the matter. Now I realized the seller is now longer on Ebay, emails sent to him are bouncing (theking@kingefi.com) and his website (www.kingefi.com) is no longer active.

Has anyone had such issues in dealing with this seller? I am wondering what I should do at this point since such a long time has elapsed and I am out around $350US.

I can provide further details on this matter to prove that this is indeed a genuine case. I am also not sure if this is the correct forum to post this but I want to alert other persons.

I also did a view of the feedback on this seller on Ebay, please have a look. Of course by this time I had long sent my money to this guy via Paypal.

Since I live overseas I have to buy many items from ebay. I faced a similar issue with an ebay vendor and placed a claim through paypal. At least I got part of my funds refunded. I would suggest you start one because this guy seems to me is not going to show up but at least he'll have trouble with paypal and not only with you.

When you buy something on eBay, use Paypal.
Only buy stuff that indicates a shipping timeline.
If the stuff doesn't arrive within a day or two of said time, send an email.
Give the person 2 business days to reply.
If no reply, file Paypal complaint and let that process work itself out... send no more emails to the seller even if the product arrives... simply cancel the complaint and leave bad feedback.

Some eBay sellers have scruples and some don't... I HOPE YOU'VE ALREADY FILED A PAYPAL COMPLAINT!!! If not, do it now.

Ugh yea.. the paypal account is closed.. once the money is gone, it's gone.
Paypal and CC, at least you charge back.
