Default Megasquirt tuning without a cable?

Is it confirmed either way if a serial to bluetooth adapter works with the serial port on a megasquirt?

adapter such as this is what I'm thinking about: http://www.roalan.com/Bluetooth%20Wi...0Converter.htm

I have a very small tabletPC with bluetooth built in that I'd like to use on megasquirt, however it does not have a serial port and I'd like to not risk damage to the USB ports having something plugged into it. Plus the coolness factor of not being tied down to the length of a serial cable would be helpful for dyno tinkering or other service.

So, you'd rather buy a $100 bluetooth adapter than a $10 cable?

I've had a laptop get bumped in my car with a USB cable inserted and smashed the internal port.. I'm thinking that 100$ (or less on ebay, maybe) adapter could save me 1000$ and maybe be cool?

You should spend $20 on a palm and quit #(*#&(*&#($.
They supposedly work, i don't roll that way though. The exact adapter that will work well is listed in the manual. Though i'm sure there could be more options listed on msefi.com

I'll be doing some testing on this soon, in the next week or two if you care to wait. Should work fine though.
