Default Megasquirt wont power on, am i ******?

I tried to reupload the 029y4 firmware onto my Megasquirt because my chip was believed to be corrupt so we wanted to see if it would hold the firmware. now my megasquirt will not be detected on my tuning software. i can hear the fuel pump prime and relays next to the ecu click when i turn the ignition on, however the 3 red lights on the bottom of my megasquirt will not turn on. When the car is started, the 3 lights turn on. I dont know if they ever lit up before the car was started, but maybe that info helps a little haha. Also the car was runnig perfect before my tuning erase and firmware issue, it is also run as a standalone. MS1 3.0. Can someone please tell me i just have a short somewhere and my MegaSquirt isnt ******.

I thought the fuel pump priming was a function of the MS, as the stock ecu doesn't do that for the ~2 seconds like an MS does.
