Megatunix with Ubuntu 8.10
Well If you read my other thread I removed the virus I had on my laptop, and now have my laptop either booting xp or Ubuntu. My question is should I run Megatunix or megatune??? I'm a little confused about megatunix how do you load new firmware and easytherm it? Any advice about megatunix is helpful

I also have my laptop booting with both Ubuntu 8.10 and Windows XP. I'm currently just using Megatune on the windows partition, but might play with Megatunix later.
I'm curious of what others have to say about Megatunix.

I've only had my MS powered up on the bench for a couple days so far, but tried both megatunix on my ubuntu desktop and megatune on my laptop...megatunix is definitely ALOT prettier, but that is about the extent of my experience so far with either.

I myself use linux on most of my machines (laptop included). I don't have my MS installed yet but have it running on the bench atm and have been playing with but Megatune and Megatunix on my laptop and have seen they both have their strong points.
Megatunix can be alittle iffy when upgrading firmware but after upgrades it runs great and the "Dash Board" is a great feature and is some what prettier and more customizable than Megatune's guage screen.
Still they both cover the same settings. I myself prefer the tabbed side bar for finding settings I need. I still have not found some settings in Megatune.
